Reset

Summer is my favorite season. I love the heat, and I find any and every reason to go swimming. I take long walks in the parks around lush woods and gardens. It's a happy time for me, and with a more relaxed schedule during the season, I found myself creating more often and not just paintings.

 

This mini collection came from my bursts of mid-day creativity,  the joy and slightly therapeutic practice of using my hands more and exploring different ways to expand my paintings beyond wall art.

For me creating has always been a hobby, a thing to quiet my mind and let me exist in the present moment. To see what could be just because.

"Reset" is about sparking that inner joy and allowing it to burn with little interference. This isn't art I made for "content" or "likes". I made these because I made time to connect with myself and to see where my imagination would lead me.
